What do I look like?
by Princess Daisy Boo inso i read everyone's posts and get to know the screen names of all of you on jwd and have this picture in my head of what those of you who dont have real photos of yourselves as avatars, and i wonder how wrong i would be if i were to meet any of you in person... so my question is this - what do you think i look like?

OMG - I literally can't stop giggling... this guessing game is so cool - My husband say's Para's description of me is the most accurate, but I like mentalclearedness's description the most...or if only I were as ethereal looking as what eryn describes...but alas, I am not, and neither am I black, boo, and PS to JK... New Release - 2007 District Convention - Follow The Christ
by Princess Daisy Boo inlucky me, oh lucky me - my mom popped by on sunday pm on their way home from the district convention to give me a copy of the new release... and then phoned me today and asked me if i had started reading it and when will i start ( note to self - i need to take a stand soon and make my intentions of never ever going back well and truly clear - 12 years of non attendance of meetings does not seem to have given mom a clue!!!).
so has anyone read it - it there anything totally pukeworthy that i have got to read before i chuck it in my rubbish bin - b'coz i didn't read the literature when i was in da troof - i am not about to start now...!.

No Christmas Vibe??
by LouBelle ini am at an iffy place with christmas this year - i don't know if i'm not trying hard enough, or if this has just been a really difficult year, but i've lost my christmas groove.
and it's not just me.. so many that i've spoken to are saying the same things.
even the shopping malls haven't gone all out - i don't hear christmas music, they've got some decorations up but nothing that shouts ""christmas is here"".

I haven't actually had time to start thinking about being christmassy, and I am broke (interest rate increase and petrol prices - thanks Mr Reserve Bank) and I have a sucky job, and well I am just generally feeling yugh about life, so christmas shmismas - just bring on 2008 and please make it a better year than 2007

Have a new job that I hate... advise please

i changed my job four weeks ago.. i work for the same company but have just taken up a position at another site which, i hoped would allow promotion and prgression within the business.. but i am hating it!
i feel like i walked into chaos!, thats the only way i can describe it!

I also started a new job on the 1st of November and I thought it would be amazing and you know what, so far it sucks!!! I am so not loving it. I work with a bunch of kids, and have too many people to report to, each with a different idea of what should be done and how (have you heard the "too many cooks" saying?), and so much else that bothers me! Anyways, just thought I would let you know that I am also in the same boat - I plan to just bide my time for a couple of months, try and do my best and see if I get used to things and if things improve, well cool, and if I can find something better in the meantime, even cooler!

Hey Rising Eagle... I actually bought a pair of Croc's - I kid you not... (I bought the cute girly Mary Jane ones, and they really are comfortable) and a friend gave me a foot spa for my birthday... so when I have had a really long day I give my tootsies a good soak...

Ugh CO from Africa?
by 4mylove ina friend spoke to a friend that moved to austin tx a few years back.
she, the friend that moved told my other friend that someone had come to the congo from africa.

In short - the answer to your question is yes - the CO visits are sorta like celebrity visits - evryone makes a huge fuss and gets all excited and clamber over each other to work with him or his wife in FS and have them over for meals etc - and if you do crack the nod, my god, what a priviledge!
As for your other comment about the man from Africa, as an African, I have heard plenty of similar stories - this is entirely possible on a continent that is largely rural and relatively underdeveloped - poor deluded fools.
